We invite you to visit LawHub to explore the many programs and products available to guide you through your legal education journey.

Upcoming LSAT Deadlines

The June score release marked the end of the 2022-2023 testing cycle, but the 2023-2024 is quickly upon us.

August 2023 LSAT: The registration deadline for the August LSAT is Thursday, June 29. This is also the deadline for accommodation requests.

September 2023 LSAT: The registration deadline for the September LSAT, open to United States and Canada test takers, is Tuesday, July 25.

As a reminder, test takers have the option to register for any LSAT administration through June 2024. Furthermore, starting in August, most test takers will have the option of taking their LSAT at home in the currently online, remotely proctored format or in person at a professional testing center.

When registering, test takers will be asked to state their preference of whether to test at home or at a test center. Regardless of your choice, you will not make your decision final until after scheduling opens for the administration you’re registering for. For more information, please visit our website to view the testing dates and learn more about testing at a test center or testing remotely.

Scheduling for the August 2023 LSAT Opens on July 6!

As previously mentioned, most test takers will have the option of taking their LSAT in the online, remotely proctored format or in person at a test center. While you were asked to express your preference of testing venue when you registered for the LSAT, it is only during the upcoming scheduling process that you will make your final choice on whether to take the test at a test center or via remote proctoring.

All August 2023 LSAT test takers, regardless of whether testing remotely or in person, will use Prometric’s ProScheduler tool to schedule their test. Scheduling will open on Thursday, July 6 at 5 p.m. ET. On that date, you will receive an email with detailed instructions to guide you through the scheduling process.

On July 6, all August registrants will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to schedule their test through Prometric’s ProScheduler tool. Please be sure to read the instructions carefully and pay special attention to the dates and times.

Deadline to schedule for in-person testing: If you opt to take your August 2023 LSAT at a Prometric test center, you have only until Thursday, July 13 to schedule your test. The Prometric ProScheduler tool will enable you to see the list of test centers available. If you’re unable to schedule your test by this deadline, you can opt to take your August 2023 remotely or you can opt to request a test date change (fees may apply) through your LSAC account.

Deadline to schedule for remote testing: If you opt to take your August 2023 in the online, live remotely proctored format, you have until Tuesday, August 8 to schedule your test. If you’re unable to schedule your test by this deadline, you can opt to request a test date change (fees may apply) through your LSAC account.

Test Taker Pro-Tip of the Week: Read the Candidate Agreement

We know you read the candidate agreement! However, you still have a few weeks before the August LSAT.

First of all, make sure you have acknowledged that you read the candidate agreement. And if you haven’t, we strongly urge you to take one final look, especially Sections 10 through 15. Following these guidelines will greatly reduce the chance of having your testing session flagged for review and increase the likelihood of an on-time delivery of your score.
