I was not able to schedule for the LSAT—Puerto Rico because the test centers were full. Can I still try to schedule?

Scheduling for the LSAT—Puerto Rico is now closed. April 2025 and June 2025 LSAT registrations are open; however, please keep in mind that these tests are administered in English only.

What are the assigned dates for the LSAT—Puerto Rico?

The days assigned for the LSAT—Puerto Rico will be as follows. Please note the time zone.

  • Friday, February 21 - test center only – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (AST)
  • Saturday, February 22 - test center - 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (AST) and remote 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (AST)

Is there a way to see what the LSAT—Puerto Rico will look like on test day?

Can I take the LSAT—Puerto Rico if I am applying to law schools outside of Puerto Rico?

No. LSAT—Puerto Rico scores can only be used to apply to law schools in Puerto Rico. An LSAT—Puerto Rico score will not be sent to mainland schools and cannot be used to apply for admission to a law school outside of Puerto Rico.

What law schools in Puerto Rico will accept my score from the LSAT—Puerto Rico?

The LSAT—Puerto Rico is accepted at the University of Puerto Rico Law School, the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law, and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico. These are the only three ABA-approved law schools in which Spanish is the principal language of instruction.

Do I have to complete a Spanish LSAT Argumentative Writing if I take the LSAT—Puerto Rico?

Yes. If you are registered for the LSAT—Puerto Rico 2025, you will receive a prompt in Spanish to complete your LSAT Argumentative Writing sample. The only exception to this is if you already have an approved writing sample from a previous administration of the LSAT or the LSAT—Puerto Rico on your file.

When will I be able to register for an LSAT beyond the June 2025 date?

Dates for the 2025-2026 LSAT test year have been announced and posted on our website at Upcoming LSAT Dates. Registration will open mid-May, and the website will be updated with other important information and deadlines at that time.
