In our new hybrid world, one big question persists: Does e-learning work?
The answer is a resounding "Yes!" E-learning can be as effective as in-person instruction and works to reinforce learning outside of the classroom. But successful e-learning is not simple. The differentiation is a thoughtful commitment to effective learning methodologies, especially with blended learning experiences. At LSAC, our team of pedagogical and substantive experts apply e-learning best practices to create learner-centric experiences for those who want a career in and around the law.
Our Philosophy
Right-Sized Learning
Right-sized learning recognizes that learning content can be presented in a number of ways. The ideal modality for a learning object is determined by topics and goals rather than fixed length and presentation norms. While longer experiences such as our live events, panels, and workshops can be valuable, most of our learning objects present information in short, digestible chunks that are easier for learners to work through at a pace that suits their schedules without sacrificing quality and aligns with the consumption habits of today’s students.
Applied Learning
Research has shown that it is not enough to simply create a learning program focused on knowledge and sharing of information from “teacher to student” or “lesson to student.” Instead, learning content should focus on the application of knowledge and skills to real-world situations to support learner engagement and retention. LawHub learning programs encourage students to apply and practice the skills, knowledge, and behaviors introduced within our events and courses.
Mobile-Friendly and On Demand
One of the most popular ways learners engage with learning experiences is through mobile devices and on demand. Research has shown that 96% of modern learners use their phones to search in moments of need and typically check their phones at least 10 times per hour. LawHub meets learners where they are – our learning programs can be accessed via mobile devices and are available on demand, 24/7.
Personalized Experiences Facilitate Self-Empowerment
We use a variety of modalities to improve learning outcomes, including collaboration and knowledge sharing, online self-study, webinars, learning aids, videos, podcasts, activities, and formative assessments, all designed to support different learning styles and preferences.
Wherever the student is on their learning journey, LawHub strives to deliver personalized, timely, and quality content that is tailored to their needs.
Ultimate Law School Prep
Engaging, interactive courses to help incoming first-year law students understand the academic expectations of law school while gaining the skills and abilities they need to transition successfully to law school and perform their best in and out of the classroom.
