If you’re testing remotely on a Mac … optimize your setup!

Apple’s recent release of MacOS Sequoia has created some confusion over which MacOS is supported by the ProProctor live proctoring software. If you plan to take your LSAT remotely with a Mac, these MacOS are currently supported by ProProctor:

  • All versions of MacOS 12 Monterey
  • All versions of MacOS 13 Ventura 13.3 and higher
  • All versions of MacOS 14 Sonoma
  • All versions of MacOS 15 Sequoia

To ensure you have a trouble-free, smooth testing experience, be sure to optimize your MacOS system for test day by following these steps before launching your test:

  • Step 1: Disable Private Relay
  1. Open System Settings
  2. Click your name at the top of the sidebar
  3. Click iCloud
  4. Click Private Relay
  5. Click Turn Off Private Relay
  6. Click Done

  • Step 2: Disable firewalls and Network Firewalls
  1. Click the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen
  2. Select System Preferences
  3. Select Security & Privacy
  4. Select Firewall on the right
  5. Click Firewall: Off
  6. Click Ok

         OR

  1. Click the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen
  2. Select System Settings
  3. Select Network on the left
  4. Select Firewall on the right
  5. Click the toggle to disable the firewall

  • Step 3: Close any applications that might require internet connectivity

Accommodation Requests for the January 2025 LSAT

The deadline to register for the January 2025 LSAT is December 3, which is also the deadline to request testing accommodations if you plan to register or have already registered for the test.

LSAC is committed to providing necessary testing accommodations for the LSAT® and LSAT Argumentative WritingSM to candidates with documented disabilities. These policies and guidelines apply to both remote and in-person testing. 

Please review all information on this page if you feel you need to request accommodations. It is important to review this information carefully and check this website often for any updates.

We encourage you to submit your request and all required documentation well in advance of the registration deadline. For the January 2025 LSAT, it is particularly important to make your request as early as possible since the holiday season is fast approaching.
