LSAT Inbox — October 2, 2024

Welcome to the LSAT Inbox! This is a blog series that answers frequently asked questions about the LSAT®. We encourage you to check back often for answers to more questions you may have as you prepare for the test.

Is there anything I should do in LawHub before my testing day?

You should login to LawHub at least once prior to your session with the same credentials you use to login to your LSAC online account. Twenty-four hours prior to your scheduled test, you should see an “LSAT” option in the left-hand menu of your LawHub account.

What MacOS system is compatible with Prometric ProProctor live Proctoring system?

Apple Inc. released the MacOS 15 Sequoia on September 16. MacOS Sequoia is NOT supported by the Prometric ProProctor live proctoring software. If you plan to take the October 2024 LSAT remotely using MacOS, we strongly urge you to wait until after the test to install MacOS Sequoia. The ProProctor live software is only compatible with Microsoft or MacOS 10.13 to 12.6.5; MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 or higher; and all versions of MacOS Sonoma.

What do I need to begin the LSAT?

You will need your LawHub user ID and password whether you are testing remotely or at a test center. You will need a government-issued ID, expired less than three months, and you will need to be present within half an hour of your scheduled testing time. Please review the Identification Accepted for LSAT Admission page on our website for more information.

What browser do I need to use if I am testing remotely? Can I use a desktop computer?

You must use the Google Chrome browser to take the LSAT. You can take the LSAT on a desktop computer, but please be sure your desktop has an external webcam so you can complete your room scan. An external webcam is required even if your desktop has a built-in camera.

Will my readiness check agent be able to confirm my accommodations?

No, readiness agents do not have access to this information. Proctors will confirm approved accommodations with test takers.

How can I contact LSAC if I have additional questions?
