USC Gould Law School—Exploration Workshop for High School Scholars

Friday, March 1, 2019, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST
University of Southern California Gould School of Law
699 Exposition Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90089

USC Gould School of Law has expanded the Law School Exploration Workshop series to high school students. Working with a local high school composed of 80% Latino and other under-presented groups, we will engage their minds in critical thinking and the art of argument. The day will include a tour of USC undergraduate campus, a mock class conducted by members of the USC Gould's Hale Moot Court where they will dissect two cases involving the Fourth and Sixth Amendments (same cases being argued later in the day) , enjoy lunch on campus, and conclude with the students attending the USC Gould Hale Moot Court Finals Competition to witness law students argue before a panel of real judges.
