Thursday, October 18, 2018, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT
Southwestern College
900 Otay Lakes Road
Chula Vista, CA 91910

Southwestern Law School will visit the Pathways students at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California, to review the unique characteristics of the community-college-to-law-school journey and to discuss the challenges first-generation students experience in the transition to postgrad life. Enhancing diversity in legal education requires an honest dialogue about both the obstacles and the transformative opportunities within higher education—this event strives to explore these topics in a roundtable format in order to stimulate discussion, reflection, and encouragement. Presented by Southwestern Law School’s Future Jurist Project in conjunction with LSAC’s Diversity Matters initiatives.
