The goals of this program are to serve high-poverty and underserved communities (specifically local high schools) by creating a path or pipeline into law school and to bring social, racial, and economic diversity into UNM and the legal community. The program continues to serve the International District, the South Valley, and the West Side of Albuquerque, and is open to diverse students. UNM’s fellows report that students develop an interest in law school or becoming lawyers after participating.
