Loyola Law Academy is a weekend program intended for high school students who are either interested in exploring law as a career or simply interested in learning more about the law. The Academy is a unique pipeline initiative that encourages Chicago high school students of diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education and legal careers. Students will have the opportunity to interact with law students, lawyers and other legal professions through lessons, a field trip to law firms, a mini mock trial, and workshops and other activities designed to teach them about the law, legal careers, and career pathways. One of its goals is to increase diversity in the law school applicant pool and the legal profession.
