Motivating the next generation of attorneys, judges, and professors starts by helping local youth visualize themselves within institutions of higher learning. The Law Day for Youth event centers on this objective. Camino Nuevo High School students will visit Southwestern Law School to deepen their understanding of the path to law school and careers in the legal profession. The morning will begin with a professor-led mock law class, followed by a campus tour. The day will continue with an LSAT preparation workshop and concludes with a law student panel. The panel explores life in law school, the power of a legal education, and career paths in law. The program is presented by Southwestern Law School's Future Jurist Project, Latino Law Students Association, and Black Law Students Association, in conjunction with LSAC's Diversity Matters initiatives.
