University of San Diego School of Law hosts a mock law class on the 4th Amendment at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Diego, CA. Students will examine a series of US Supreme Court cases that outline the circumstances in which a warrantless search is reasonable or unreasonable. Through the use of hypothetical fact patterns and relevant case law, high school students gain exposure to the pedagogical tools that are part of the law school classroom experience. The class is followed by a short overview of different financial resources and academic support services available to high school students interested in the legal profession. Presented by University of San Diego School of Law School's Future Jurists Initiative, and in conjunction with the Law School Admission Council's Diversity Matters program.
