Florida International University—Law Student for a Day

October 19, 2018, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
ET
FIU College of Law
Miami, FL

Law Student for a Day is a program organized by the H.T. Smith Black Law Student Association at FIU and funded by Discover Law (an initiative that exposes students to the area of law). This is a great opportunity for students interested in law, since they will be exposed to the law school and will take a few small classes on topics such as constitutional law, contracts, criminal law, immigration law, and intellectual property. The classes will be taught by current law students. A mock trial will also be held for all attendees. This event is open to all high school students (grades 9–12) who are interested in college and law.
