Discover Law Day

Friday, November 8, 2019, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST
South Texas College of Law
1303 San Jacinto Street
Houston, TX 77009

South Texas College of Law Houston invites high school students from Carl Wunsche Senior High School to experience our Discover Law Day.  In an effort to diversify the legal field. South Texas College of Law Houston student ambassadors would like to engage the high students with an interactive program to give them an understanding as to why their presence is needed within the legal community as they consider their various career paths.  They will attend a mock class, meet with current law students to hear about their journey to law school, and take a tour of the campus.

Our goal is to reach out to minority students as freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors and begin an open dialogue on how the law affects them while creating mentoring opportunities with current law students and local professionals in the legal field. Students will be provided with breakfast and lunch.
