Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Financial Aid Counselor will serve as an integral part of the admissions and financial aid team that supports the established enrollment and financial literacy goals for the Law School. The Financial Aid Counselor will assist in planning, organizing, and executing the Law School's financial literacy programming. This position will provide financial aid counseling to prospective and current students and families. Working closely with the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, this position will create financial wellness content for programming and presentations for prospective and current students. This position will ensure that all Department of Education and ABA requirements and regulations are met from the student entering law school until graduation. The Financial Aid Counselor will be responsible for reviewing financial aid files for accuracy and ensuring data integrity. The person in this role must oversee student employment within Workday, the student employment software program. This position will also work within the CRMs Slate, Unite, and the university system.

 

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of financial experience or closely related experience which could include finance, accounting, business, and/or banking are required.
