Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the Dean of Admissions, the Director of Admissions, Law Center oversees all J.D. admissions processes. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Read, evaluate, and make admissions decisions and recommendations on applicants to all J.D. programs, including both first-year and transfer classes.
- Direct both pre-application and post-admissions recruiting and counseling for the J.D. program.
- Manage operations of the admissions office function, including related activities such as its Early Outreach Initiative.
- Represent Georgetown Law at informational forums and law fairs.
- Direct the J.D. scholarship process and budget, overseeing the creation and updating of Admissions publications and marketing materials.
- Oversee the Alumni and Group interview processes.
