LLM and other law program applicants follow a different process than JD applicants. Our tools and resources will help guide you.
Steps to Apply
There are a number of steps to take before you can submit your application for an LLM or other law degree program. You'll be responsible for monitoring your LSAC file to make sure you meet application deadlines.
LLM Credential Assembly Service (LLM CAS)
LLM CAS simplifies the application process for eligible graduates of universities or law schools. Applicants who use LLM CAS only have to submit academic documents and letters of recommendation once.
Eligibility for LLM Programs
Most LLM CAS-participating schools require that applicants have completed, or be in the process of completing, a first degree in law.

Application Requirements
A complete application includes academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, an English proficiency exam for non-native speakers, and your CAS Report.
