Completing your law school applications electronically through your LSAC.org account saves you time during the application process, as many generic application sections—such as biographical information and education history—will be prefilled with information from your account.
Your Credential Assembly Service (CAS) fee covers electronic application (e-app) processing for all LSAC-member law schools. Please note that individual application fees are not included as part of CAS.
- Find law schools that interest you and add them to your School List, which you can access from the homepage of your LSAC.org account.
- Go to your School List and click on the name of the school. Then click the Start/Continue Application button to access the school’s application and requirements.
Make sure to follow all of the school’s requirements, including fee payment.
Incomplete E-app Preferences
If you show interest in a law school by beginning an application, the school may wish to contact you with information about its programs. For this purpose and with your consent, LSAC will provide your LSAC account number, name, address, phone number, and email address to those law schools whose e-apps you have started and saved in your LSAC.org account.
Your consent is completely optional, and you may opt in or out at any time. To change your preferences, log in to your LSAC.org account and visit My Account/Account Settings/Preferences.
