Completing Your LSDAS File
In order for LSDAS reports to be sent, they must be requested directly by the law schools to which you apply.
If you do not have a complete LSDAS file, your report will not be generated. A complete LSDAS file consists of the following:
- A current LSDAS file (this is the service described in LSDAS General Information)
- At least one reportable LSAT score
- Summarized transcripts from all undergraduate schools that you have attended (graduate transcripts should also be sent)
- JD CAS evaluation of foreign transcripts, if applicable
- Letters of Recommendation, if they are required by the law schools to which you are applying
- Payment for all required reports and other requested services
NOTE: You must provide all information needed to complete your LSDAS file. Information provided in electronic law school applications, even those transmitted through LSAC, does not automatically become part of your LSDAS file.
Once you register for LSDAS, contact the registrar from each educational institution that you have attended and have your official transcript(s) sent to LSAC at: LSAC, 662 Penn Street, Box 2000-M, Newtown, PA 18940-0993. If you have a current file with LSAC, you may check your file status online.
